Man Utd appoint new manager: Manchester United appointed Portuguese national Ruben Amorim as their new manager after sacking Erik Ten Hag. The 41-year-old started the 2024-25 season with Sporting Lisbon in a stellar fashion and was in the radar for many other Premier League teams. However, United were able to rope him in and he coached his first game for them on November 11.

One Direction star dies: Liam Payne tragically passed away in November 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The incident shocked fans and the music world, as tributes poured in for the 31-year-old former boy band member. Payne’s untimely death left a void in pop culture and music history​.

GMP drug busts: Greater Manchester Police Operation AVRO made a big bust in the month of November. A total of 62 arrests were made on November 21 in the mission conducted in Openshaw, Moston and Wythenshawe. Drugs, weapons and large quantities of cash were recovered by the GMP during this mission.
