Officers in Wigan are appealing to help find three men who a young couple’s home and struck their neighbour on the head with a hammer when he tried to come to their aid.

Police were called to Bolton Road, Ashton, in Makerfield shortly before 5.20pm on Monday March 30 following reports that shots had been fired in the residential area.
