A teenager has been robbed, beaten unconscious and ‘left for dead’ in the street by a gang of thugs in Rusholme – police are appealing for witnesses to the ‘vicious attack’.

Four men approached their victim, 29, in Ancoats, Manchester, at around 12.30am on July 28 as he walked across the grassland near to Pollard Street

Marcus Williams, 18, of Seymour Grove, Old Trafford pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted robbery and a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to two counts attempted robbery

The incident happened at around 9.30pm

The incident occurred at around 6.40pm on Wednesday
