More and more victims of rape and sexual assault are seeking help and advice across the city but support serivce, Manchester Rape Crisis, could face budget cuts.

According to a Freedom of Information Act request by Mancunian Matters, Greater Manchester Police received 5,935 reports of rape and sexual assault this year and 4,085 the year before.

The incident occurred at around 8.30am on either Monday 29 or Tuesday 30 June 2015 when the girl was walking to school on Sandway, near to Beech Hill Lane.
