Joshua Milton, who won the ATP Futures tournament at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club last year, defeated Japan’s Hiroki Moriya 3-6 6-1 6-1 to book his place in the last eight while compatriot Brydan Klein saw off number one seed Marcos Baghdatis.

Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis, the former world number eight, cruised through his first match yesterday in straight sets beating British wildcard Marcus Willis 6-4 6-2 on centre court at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in Didsbury.

Former world number eight Marcos Baghdatis and Great Britain’s Davis Cup hero James Ward are among the list of entries for the Aegon Manchester Trophy at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club from May 31-June 7.
