Manchester Museum of Science & Industry is set to get groovy for groundbreaking new Alzheimer’s research as the silent disco returns on Thursday August 20.

What’s all about chemistry, taught in biology, but most fun when you actually get physics-al? It’s the Science of Sex and it’s coming (wink wink) to Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry.

The 3D: Printing the Future exhibiton features more than 500 3D printed items from miniature football stadiums like Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium, to the world’s first bike with a fully 3D printed metal frame, in celebration of the potential of this revolutionising technology.

The Science Show-off, to be hosted at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on October 24, is a science-based open mic night.

Grant will allow museum to take initial steps towards creating a brand-new bespoke temporary exhibition facility on its historic site.
