Ever since the turn of the year it has seemed like the country has become some sort of winter La La Land.
Writers including Margaret Atwood and Anthony Horowitz are sharing pictures of themselves aged ten to celebrate Manchester Literature Festival’s tenth anniversary.
This summer, Manchester will serve up a plethora of cultural delights to whet the appetite of music and theatre lovers, festival-goers, jazz enthusiasts and food junkies.
The launch event will take place at Thwaites Festival Pavilion in Albert Square tonight for a sultry evening of smooth jazz.
