After Jessica Fullalove clocked 2:11.33 in the 200m backstroke heats to qualify second fastest for the evening session things looked good for the Royton teen but a difficult race left her cradling a bronze medal.
Backstroke specialist Jessica Fullalove, 18, got a taste of the big time last year when she travelled with Team GB to the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing and came home with three silver medals, having also competed at the Commonwealth Games.
