Oldham Council have partnered with the Manchester Football Association to secure a £301,288 grant from the Football Foundation for Chadderton Football Club as they seek to build the amateur game.

Investment into grassroots football in Manchester since 2000 has seen it receive 30 fewer grants than Leicester, according to new figures released by the Football Foundation.
