Iconic Manchester music venue The Roadhouse will be closing its doors indefinitely on June 1.

The basement club located on the corner of Newton Street has been a live music favourite since 1992.

Manchester bands will dominate this year’s Kendal Calling headline slots, with Elbow and James both confirmed acts for the summer festival held in the Lake District.
