Canada became the first G7 country to legalise cannabis, former Tory leader William Hague called for the UK to follow suit and medicinal cannabis will soon be available on prescription.

The event’s Facebook page said that the demonstration was held in order to “highlight the struggle against Trump’s bigoted policies – from fighting racism, war and sexism.”
