In Chevrolet’s latest online teaser, a blank-faced squad member arrives at Manchester United to be met by adoring fans, deal with the press and enter the fabled home dressing room.

Fergie’s tear-jerking story is chronicled in a promotional video along with ten other young fans from countries including Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea and the United States, as part of United’s partnership with Chevrolet

United’s new kit is available to pre-order now on United Direct and Nike.com ahead of its worldwide release on July 16, while the players will first don the strip a week later.

American car giant Chevrolet penned a seven-year, £53million deal with the club in July 2012 and the shirt featuring their badge has so far been kept under wraps.

The auction will raise funds for Ability Counts football programme.
