A photographer has been trekking up to the top of Manchester Cathedral every month for five years in order to create an exhibition showcasing dramatic 3D-like images of the city skyline.
The 3D: Printing the Future exhibiton features more than 500 3D printed items from miniature football stadiums like Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium, to the world’s first bike with a fully 3D printed metal frame, in celebration of the potential of this revolutionising technology.
Produced by the Museum of Science and Industry, the eighth annual festival begins Thursday, October, 23, and will include cutting-edge discoveries, workshops, and internationally acclaimed art among its attractions
