It wasn’t long ago that Mancunians had gathered around the city to watch the final of EURO 2024 as England took on Spain.
While the result might have sucked the air out of a city ready to let its hair down, there is another chance to enjoy the highs of live sport for residents in Manchester as the 2024 Olympics get underway.
Team GB expected to bring home the gold
Indeed, the goings-on in Paris provides the perfect antidote to the lows of the final in Berlin as Team Great Britain (GB) are expected to shine on the international stage.
Further evidence of this can be found if you place an Olympics bet on the most gold medals market.
Of course, while Team GB might be at odds of 40/1 to win the most gold medals, only the United States and China have lower odds of winning more.
As for which country might top the most gold medals list at the end, the latest Olympic Games 2024 betting odds price the US at just 1/7 to do so.

It might end up being a procession for those from the Land of the Free when it comes to the gold rush in Paris but here in Manchester, sports fans will be given many opportunities to get off their seats as Team GB enjoy their own success in the City of Light.
So, where exactly are the main gatherings happening around the Rainy City for the 2024 Olympics?
The Lawn Club
The Lawn Club has been designated as the official fan zone for Team GB in Manchester which means that it is likely to be the liveliest place to be when watching the 2024 Olympics.

This venue proved an immensely popular place to watch EURO 2024 owing to the outstanding value on offer to patrons.
Again, the organisers are running an Olympics special where fans are offered a meal and drink for just £10. The venue will open at noon every day of the Olympics and arriving early is essential to avoid missing out.
Courts Club
The Courts Club will be giving fans a chance to watch this summer’s Olympics in style as they offer deck chair seating to all patrons on their courts.
As for what to eat, there is the choice of a high tea as cakes, sandwiches, and drinks are available to everyone who chooses the Courts Club to watch the 2024 Olympics.
It doesn’t get much more summery than this so don’t miss the final live sporting event of the season at this idyllic setting.
Screen on the Docks
Another picturesque setting to watch the Olympics and capitalise on the long summer evenings is the Screen on the Docks.
The screening of the Games will start from 15:00 every day and will run until the 8th of September as the organisers are giving the public a chance to also support Team GB in the Paralympics.
Don’t miss out on this celebration of athletic excellence
The Olympics only comes around every four years and when it arrives, it deserves to be celebrated.
Every athlete representing Team GB in Paris this summer would have dedicated their lives to their craft so come out in force in Manchester and roar on those who are determined to make everybody back home proud.
