Manchester City face two of the same Champions League group opponents in Bayern Munich and CSKA Moscow as they seek to add a European title to their growing trophy cabinet.
4 – #MCFC have played Bayern Munich more times (4) than any other #UCL opponents and now stand to face them at least twice more. Familiar.

CSKA and City fell out over claims of racism directed towards midfielder Yaya Toure and the Russians were subsequently ordered to play partially behind closed doors for their group fixture against five-times European champions Bayern in late November.
AS Roma make up a tough draw for Manuel Pellegrini’s team, twice Premier League champions in three seasons but yet to really impress among the European elite with a best outing of the round of 16 last year, where they lost to Barcelona.
Bayern and City were the runaway teams from their group 12 months ago though with Italians Roma a stronger prospect than Czech side Viktoria Plzen, the Citizens’ work could be cut out.
City will start their campaign next month before the six-game group stage winds up in December.
