When Wladimir Klitschko agreed to fight Tyson Fury, he certainly wouldn’t have expected to have to face Batman as well.
But that was what happened in London today, when the self-appointed ‘Gypsy King’ turned up to a press conference in a yellow Lamborghini dressed as the Dark Knight, before vaulting the press table to wrestle the Joker.
If you think that sounds bizarre, you’re not wrong.

And even Ukrainian world champion Klitschko afforded himself a smile at the Mancunian’s antics, although questions remain as to whether Fury’s boxing talents match up to his penchant for self-promotion.
Once the shenanigans gave way to talking, Klitschko went on the attack, telling Fury that ‘to act stupid doesn’t mean to act funny’, whilst claiming that ‘cruiserweight’ David Haye would have knocked out his compatriot.

The holder of five world heavyweight belts told his rival that he was a ‘clown’ and that he needed therapy to cure his ‘bipolar’ behaviour.
Tensions threatened to bubble over as the two men squared up to each other, but the public will have to wait until October 24 to see who will triumph in a dust-up.
