Wigan Warriors have signed London Broncos duo Tony Clubb and Dan Sarginson today as they strengthen their squad ahead of their championship crown defence next season.
Sarginson, who is a member of the England development squad, has signed on for two years at the DW Stadium with the option for a potential third.
Clubb, 26, arrives after Wigan and London agreed an undisclosed fee for the forward’s services as he still had a year remaining on his deal with the Broncos.
“I am looking forward to working with both of them, they are great acquisitions to our squad,” said head coach Shaun Wane.
“Dan is a young player with lots of potential. He has been playing consistently well in the Broncos team and we know he has the attributes to settle quickly into the Wigan way.
“Tony, meanwhile, is everything I want in a forward, powerful and dynamic. He is hungry for success and possesses great leadership qualities which I am keen to tap in to.”
Saringson said he was excited ahead of his move north from London.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition and I am really looking forward to this new challenge in my career,” the 20-year-old told the club website.
Chairman Ian Lenagan said that the signings along with those of Sam Hopkins, Eddy Pettybourne and Matt Bowen who have already joined the club, will add competition for places for next season.
