Manchester City target Isco has revealed he has offers from both the Blues and Spanish giants Real Madrid as he weighs up his transfer options.
The promising 21-year-old looks set to leave current club Malaga this summer and could link up with old boss Manuel Pellegrini, who was appointed City manager on Friday.
And the Spanish international wants his future resolved quickly so he can concentrate on his football, admitting he would flourish at either the Bernabeu or the Etihad Stadium.
“I hope to make a decision soon because I still have a contract with Malaga,” he told Spanish newspaper AS.
“I have already said before that Madrid and City are both great clubs. I want the best solution for Malaga and for myself.
“I just want to play football and have fun. It doesn’t matter to me what kind of formation a team plays. I have my own characteristics, but you always have to adapt to your surroundings.”
The youngster scored 12 goals in 46 appearances last season at La Rosaleda and has three years left on his current contract with a €35million buy-out clause.
And he is under no illusions that former boss Pellegrini will succeed in the Premier League, admitting the Chilean manager has made a big impact on his fledgling career.
“I know how he works and he has played a key role in my career so far during our two years together at Malaga,” he said.
“It’s a plus that I already know him, but there isn’t anything definitive as of yet.
“He’s a great coach and I hope he will do well in England. He did an impressive job at Malaga and at other clubs in the past, so I have little doubt that he will succeed at City.”
