Manchester football fans have voted red their favourite colour over blue in a social media competition hosted by Chris Kamara to decide which shade to paint a car.
Football commentator and former player Kamara even got his own hands dirty by spraying the Toyota GT 86, which will be given away to one lucky fan and was parked in Spinningfields for the contest between 1-2pm.
Tweets were submitted to @Autotrader_UK using the hashtags #Red or #Blue ahead of the Premier League kick off at the weekend, featuring 20 time league champions Manchester United and twice Premier League winners Manchester City.

United will have their work cut out if they are to wrangle the title away from holders City, though with the support of their fellow Mancunians they could give Manuel Pellegrini’s side a real headache.
