Ricky Hatton has continued his reputation as a joker by purchasing a Manchester City cake for his United supporting brother on his birthday.
The former boxer and WBA welterweight champion, originally from Tameside, revealed the prank on Twitter this morning to his 438,000 followers.

Ricky’s brother Matt, a professional welterweight boxer, saw the funny side of the joke but told his older sibling not to bother delivering the cake to him.
Cheers Rick don’t bother dropping the cake off! https://t.co/kg2jPNMwan

Ricky, 36, widely known as ‘the hitman’, has demonstrated a wicked sense of humour over the past .
In 2005, the former boxer splashed out £4,000 on a Reliant Robin and drove around the streets of Manchester dressed as Delboy from cult comedy Only Fools and Horses.
