Pre season training was underway at Manchester Velodrome ahead of the opening game of 2025.
Manchester Thunder were set to face 2024 Grand Final champions Loughborough Lightning in the Netball Super League Opener at the AO Arena on Sunday 16 March.
Player Paige Reed stated the team had ‘unfinished business’ approaching the game and praised the team’s hard work, despite injuries and personal commitments.
Coach Karen Greig echoed the statement and encouraged people to come along to see the game to challenge any preconceptions they may have about the ‘schoolgirl’ sport.
