Sir Alex Ferguson will address fans at Old Trafford as Manchester United begin the parade of their 13th Premier League title on Monday evening.
The Champions 2012/13 trophy parade will depart the forecourt outside of the East Stand at 6pm, giving crowds a first glimpse of the open-top bus.
The bus is due to leave Old Trafford at 6.30pm and will travel into the city centre via Chester Road, passing through Deansgate and ending in Albert Square approximately 7.40pm.
“Winning a 20th league title is a huge achievement for the club,” said chief executive David Gill. “We’re excited to be able to share this special moment with our fans.
“The support from the fans has been incredible this season and we’re looking forward to celebrating with them during the trophy parade.”
Sir Richard Leese, leader of Manchester City Council, congratulated Ferguson ahead of his retirement at the end of this season.
“Manchester City Council congratulates Manchester united and Sir Alex Ferguson on their remarkable achievement of winning their 20th title.
“The club brings the city worldwide profile and huge visitor revenue.”
And Trafford Council leader Matt Colledge looks forward to seeing fans line the streets in celebration.
“The club is a world-renowned global sporting brand and the significant economic and community benefits it brings to Trafford cannot be over-emphasised,” he said.
“I congratulate Manchester United on their epic title win, congratulations which I am sure will be echoed by the many thousands of people lining the streets to celebrate the victory parade.”
