Customers at a bar in Manchester were given a surprise show by global freestyle champion John Farnworth this week as football fever rises ahead of Euro 2016.
Catching the locals unawares, the trickster burst into Yates Manchester Printworks and showed off his fancy footwork with hosts France getting this summer’s tournament underway against Romania on Friday.
Farnworth, a five-times Guinness World Record holder, displayed everything from impressive keepy-uppys on the bar to headers and tricks from the upper level balcony, some patrons even being invited to join in.
Vince Williams, Yates’ head of marketing, said: “The Euros is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and we wanted to get our customers into the spirit with an impromptu performance from John.
“It was great to see so many people get involved and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back when the tournament begins.
“Whatever team you support, the Euros is set to be one of the most exciting tournaments yet.”
With a brand new sports menu and brilliant drinks offers available at over 50 venues nationwide, Yates is the place to be to watch the action unfold.
