Sale Shark’s fixtures for the 2013/2014 season of the Aviva Premiership have been announced.
The Sharks will be hoping to improve upon their results from last season which saw them finish tenth out of 12 teams with just 35 points.
The fixtures include two matches selected to be shown live on the new BT Sport channel, which are an away fixture against Northampton and a home fixture against Bath.
Speaking to salesharks.com about the fixtures, Steve Diamond, Director of Rugby said: “It could be a good opportunity for us but we have to remember that we got beat by everybody last season at least once and we are very mindful of that.”
The Sharks are optimistic about next season, however it would appear that they are not going to be underestimating any of the opposition.
Sale will travel away for their first match against Gloucester with their next match back at Salford where they will play the newly promoted Newcastle Falcons.
The Christmas fixture this year will be a home game against London Irish while the final game for the Sharks will be an away fixture also against London Irish.
