It seems the celebrations aren’t over for Manchester City following their Capital One Cup success, as they prepare for another important milestone – reaching 10million Facebook fans.
Blues defender Micah Richards broke out the party poppers to celebrate his side gaining their ten millionth Facebook fan with their ’10 campaign’.
City’s cup-heroes are encouraging fans to print off their ‘10’ card and upload pictures of themselves holding it up.
Alvaro Negredo and Richards featured in the video translating the message into their native tongue as did French duo Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri.
Nasri struck the second goal in Sunday’s final as City romped to a 3-1 win over Sunderland to take the League Cup trophy for the first time in 38 years.
