As Colombian superstar Falcao nears a shock deadline-day switch to United, Manchester Airport are enlisting the help of Mancunians to spot the striker with the hashtag #WheresFalcao.
Falcao is set to get on-board with a one-year loan deal after Europe’s football giants were put on red alert that he was packing his bags when he was left out of Monaco’s squad for their Ligue 1 clash with Lille on Saturday.
As Falcao fever grips the city, Old Trafford is set to be his final destination and he is jetting in to Manchester Airport later today to seal the deal.
Airport staff are waiting to show the first images of the former Atletico Madrid and Porto hitman, who missed this summer’s World Cup with a knee injury as Colombia reached the quarter-finals, touching down on English soil.
Hmm so we found VanGaal and DiMaria so now lets play #WheresFalcao… tweet us pics of the places he isn’t and wherever is left he must be..

And they are asking Mancunians to narrow down the search in a bid to pinpoint Falcao’s location – with washing machines, the underside of beds and even the inside of a man’s hat being scoured to find him.
Ooh it’s #TransferDeadlineDay or #EveryFootballerUnderTheSunSpottedAtManAirportDay as we like to call it…

Of course, Falcao is no stranger to catching air with his trademark leap and heading ability and will add some much needed power to United’s faltering frontline.
New boss Louis van Gaal is assembling a vastly different squad with the likes of Javier Hernandez and Shinji Kagawa shown the exit door and megastars like Angel Di Maria replacing them.
After signing Argie Angel to sort out their problems on the wings, Falcao is donning his to boost shot-shy United’s goals scored column – but they are still worryingly exposed at the back.
Despite aiming to lay foundations, the Dutchman isn’t likely to find his new man under a hard hat here.

Speaking of hats, this gentleman had about as much as luck as Premier League centre-halves could when trying to spot the elusive forward.

United’s disastrous 4-0 defeat to MK Dons means they can no longer make a clean sweep of domestic trophies, but the Falcao capture will still leave their Premier League rivals in a spin after they beat noisy neighbours City and Arsenal to his signature.

Falcao banged in nine goals in 17 for the Principality last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury in January.
He has already grabbed two in three this term and has looked sharp on his return after last year’s injury-hit debut season in France.
And after Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Juan Mata slept their way through the 0-0 snore draw with Burnley, United could do with a wake-up call.
But Falcao, 28, still can’t be found under Kieran Hughes’ bed.

Even cat’s eyes cannot spot him, but Falcao is due in Manchester today ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline.

With personal terms and a medical still to be done, it’s going to be a long wait until the final call for Falcao.
No I can’t ask a “Mr Falcao” to come to the customer information desk… #cantcatchmeout #bbcdeadlineday #FlyManchester
