Liam Gallagher has launched a brand new collection of the unique LG rambler shoes which sold out in minutes, but it’s not the only launch Clark’s have recently unveiled.
The launch of the shoe coincided with the opening of a Clarks original concept store in Manchester.
A big success for Manchester as a hometown superstar releases incredibly popular shoe collection, whilst opening only the third dedicated Clarks original concept store internationally at the same time.
An excellent time to open the concept store as like always Liam’s take on a modern classic was very popular.
Liam brought out a mix of two silhouettes from the Clarks back catalogue which were both discontinued and haven’t been available to purchase since 2011/2018.
Despite Liam’s other collections with big brands such as: C.P Company, Barbour and Adidas it’s no surprise that his newest collaboration is with Clarks.
In 2018 he tweeted asking if anyone could source him a pair of discontinued Clarks ramblers after he’d been wearing similar Clarks styles dating all the way back to the 90’s.
With Clarks creating three bespoke pairs for Liam the start of a partnership on the classic shoe but with a twist was formed.
Describing the new collection Liam said: “For years I’ve been scrambling around eBay trying to get a pair of Ramblers and now I’ve got my own version – I’m buzzing.”
But for the public, many are worried scrambling around on eBay might be the only way to get their hands on Liam’s new collection.
The new shoe is now being offered online for more than double the £130 original price with them being listed on eBay for nearly £300.
However, Manchester might be in luck with the new original concept store being opened in the city centre.
The building clearly advertises Liam’s new shoe on its shop windows, enticing those from far and wide to buy the new widely desired LG rambler.
The marketing may be based all around the Manchester’s Shoe-personic Singer but inside the Clarks originals new store will also be the collaborations of many other sell out celebrity and designer collections.
Examples of this include: Disney, Carhartt, Pokémon, Levi’s, supreme and even Left Wing England football superstar Raheem Sterling.
With Clarks being a popular brand amongst many to work with, Manchesters new original concept store – one out of three internationally – should be something Mancunians can really be grateful and proud of.
