Parklife 2014: Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, Bastille and Kendrick Lamar set for Manchester festival

By Kenny Lomas

Kendrick Lamar, Bastille, Rudimental and Snoop Dogg are among the acts confirmed for this summer’s Parklife festival at Heaton Park.

Other artists who will perform at the two-day event include the classic hip-hop group, Public Enemy, Pusha T and Foals.

Now in its fifth year, the Warehouse Project run event takes place over the weekend of June 7and 8.

Last year the festival moved to Heaton Park, where 40,000 revellers turned up to enjoy a weekend of spectacular music.

Los Angeles all-girl group Warpaint revealed earlier this week as part of the line-up, after the indie rock band told NME they were performing at the Popular Parklife festival.

Other artists who had been revealed prior to this morning’s announcement include Sam Smith, Mercury Prize-nominee Jon Hopkins, Radio 1’s Annie Mac and MK.

Tickets will set you back £49.50 for a one-day ticket or £79.50 for the full weekend.
