Grime artist Stormzy will visit Manchester as part of his Heavy Is The Head (H.I.T.H) world tour next year.
The tour includes 55 dates running between February and October after the release of his ‘Heavy is the Head’ album. He will be at Manchester Arena on Thursday, September 17, 2020.
The news comes after Stormzy backed Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in the upcoming general election, and he encouraged young voters to register before the deadline.
His calls resulted in over 150,000 under-25s completing the registration process.
He has played in Manchester before, at the Manchester Academy in 2017 and at the ‘Sounds of the Future’ stage at Parklife the same year.
Stormzy headlined this summer’s Glastonbury, and has won two Brit awards, an Ivor Novello award and six MOBOs.
His new album will feature vocals from Mancunian artist Aitch.
Fans can pre-order the album, which is released on December 13, 2019. You can get early access to tour tickets HERE.
