Manchester United legend Gary Neville and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will both be performing at this year’s Kendal Calling, with tickets being put on general sale and fast running out.
Current Sky Sports pundit Neville is set to join The Charlatans’ frontman Tim Burgess’ DJ set at the Lake District-based event in a surprise appearance, with former Oasis chief Gallagher’s band headlining alongside the likes of Paolo Nutini and The Streets.
But those wanting to see these Mancunian superstars and others at Lowther Deer Park will have to shell out a significant amount of cash to do so – with ticket availability presently very low.
The festival, which started in 2006, is a weekend-long celebration of music and is presently scheduled to run between Thursday 1 August to Sunday 4 August.
Tickets are on their final release wave, with adult weekend camping entry now standing at the eye-watering price of £199.00 (alongside a £9.95 booking fee).

Teen weekend camping (11 to 15 year olds) costs £95.00 per person – also with an additional £9.95 booking fee.
Child weekend camping (6 to 10 year olds) will put you back a further £25.00 and is accompanied by a £2.50 booking charge.
Finally, under 5s can gain weekend-long entry for the rather cheaper charge of £10.00 and a miniscule £1.00 booking cost.
After the announcement, Salford-born Burgess said: “I’m very excited about the prospect of DJing with Gary – he’s got great taste in music.
“Can’t promise we’ll be doing any songs together but there might be an impromptu singalong at some point.”
Other big names currently set to feature at the event include Declan McKenna, The Reytons, Keane, Sugababes, Paul Heaton and Rianne Downey.
Some – such as McKenna, Heaton and Downey – will only be performing on Thursday 1 August and those in attendance will be required to purchase separate tickets to see them.
These early entry tickets range between free entry for under 5s and a £39.50 fee for adults.
Kendal Calling co-founder Andy Smith said: “After the week we have had, bring on the summer!
“It is with much joy and excitement we share with you today the biggest Kendal Calling line-up to date.
“We have the perfect ingredients for a fantastically celebratory weekend.
“But as ever the most important ingredient is YOU – and we can’t to see you in the fields.”
