CCTV appeal: GMP hunting two burglars who broke into Wigan working men’s club

GMP have released CCTV footage in a bid to catch two burglars who broke into a working men’s club in Wigan earlier this month.

The incident occurred at about 1.50am on Sunday April 5 when the pair of men forced their way into the working men’s club on White Street in Pemberton before fleeing with a significant amount of cash from the safe.

One of the men is described as white and was wearing a dark jacket and trousers and a baseball cap.

The second man is described as white and was wearing dark trousers and a dark top with the hood up.

Police Constable Roy Lunio of Wigan division said: “If you recognise either of the men in the footage or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the burglary, I would urge you to contact police.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
