A horrifying herd of the living dead will shuffle their way to Manchester’s Printworks on Sunday accompanied by the legendary Ghostbusters crew in aid of a homeless charity.
The zombie walk, in aid of the Booth Foundation has taken place for the past five years with more than 1000 Zombies regularly taking part.
Ghouls will travel across the city centre with various venues putting on special offers for the walking dead with Zombies taking part asked to contribute to collection buckets.
“We are doing our best to play nice with the zombies,” said Fred Booth, Centre Director of The Printworks.
“Tenants have done some great offers to pacify attendees and we are pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile cause as the Booth Foundation.
“We do advise members of the public to be cautious with these zombies, although they have been very nice for the past five years they do still enjoy a bit of brain.”
The Printworks will be kitted out with Kevlar netting to protect punters with the Ghostbuster’s team patrolling the centre alongside normal security staff.
When the walk ends at around 6pm Printwork’s pub Waxy O’Connor’s has organised a film screening of the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse movie.
For mini horrors a Little Monsters Ball will be held from 9am – 11am tomorrow and Sunday.
The ball will feature breakfast, face painting as well as ghoulish games.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 for children and £9 for adults with places limited, call 0161 831 6700 to book tickets.
