CCTV images of two men suspected of breaking into a catering storeroom at Salford University last night has been released.
The break in occurred between 7.30pm and 11.30pm when two offenders sneakd into the university in the Chapman building on University Road, Pendleton.
After breaking into the storeroom they then set off the fire alarm by fleeing through an emergency exit at the back of a building.
Detective Constable Paul Reynolds said: “It is believed the offenders had hidden inside the building prior to it being locked up before getting into the storeroom.
“If you recognise either of these men we’d very much like to hear from you.
“Alternatively, if you were in the area that evening and remember seeing anything unusual which may be related please call police.”
