Manchester Airport are giving some lucky ghosts and ghouls a treat this Halloween, by offering a pair of flights to Orlando in a social media giveaway.
Using the hashtag ‘#TrickOrTweet’, followers of @MANAirport are asked to share the tricks or treats that they’ve played in the build-up to and on Halloween itself.
The winning entry will win the return flights and the airport will also be handing out interactive hourly spot prizes, in connection with Virgin Atlantic.
Jeff Howarth, Marketing Director of Manchester Airports Group (MAG), said: “We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion of Halloween than to have a little ghoulish fun.”
To win one of the hourly spot prizes, Manchester Airport will be quizzing their followers on Twitter, with participants guessing whether the questions are a trick or a tweet.
A Virgin Atlantic spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be supporting Manchester Airport with this innovative and exciting competition.”
Orlando is known for thrill-seeking theme parks and scare attractions, making it the ‘spiritual’ home of Halloween and an adrenalin-junkie’s paradise.
Manchester Airport flies to over 200 destinations and is served by 65 airlines while Virgin Atlantic serves four destinations from Manchester and has been flying from there since 1996.
The competition begins on the morning of October 31.
