The death of a 29-year-old man whose body was found in a Manchester city centre bush isn’t being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Carl Forshaw’s body was found in a bush by a passing shopper at around 2.45pm on Saturday afternoon on Miller Street near the CIS tower.
Detectives who attended the scene initially treated the circumstances surrounding Mr Forshaw death, who was from Hazel Grove, Stockport, as suspicious.
A GMP spokesman said: “A Home Office Post Mortem was carried out on Sunday 23rd November and though the result was inconclusive, officers are now treating this death as non-suspicious.
“The file will now be passed to the coroner.”
It is believed that Mr Forshaw had recently been living in a hostel. He was born and raised in Hazel Grove before being adopted by a family in Rhyl, Wales.
