A 36-year-old man arrested in connection with historic sexual abuse allegations made by Karen Danczuk has been released on bail.
Mrs Danczuk, the wife of Labour MP Simon Danczuk, has said she was raped repeatedly at her family home in Manchester as a child.
The offences took place in the Middleton area between 1989 and 1995, when the victim was aged between six and 12 years old.
GMP arrested a man on suspicion of rape yesterday, but he has been bailed until April 30 pending further enquiries.
This relates to officers speaking to a woman on February 16 regarding historic sexual abuse.
The 31-year-old mother of two, who has courted controversy throughout her career for posting revealing ‘selfies’ on social media, took to Twitter saying she will ‘never forgive and never forget’.
For all those who doubted me, publicly slated me & made me feel like scum for coming out. I will NEVER forgive & NEVER forget! KD #csa
