A medical emergency outside Deansgate-Castlefield has suspended trams on Manchester’s Metrolink.
It is reported a woman fell ill while travelling on one of the trams this morning and emergency services have arrived at the scene.
Services affected include East Didsbury, Ashton, Bury, Rochdale and Altrincham lines.
According to Metrolink, Ashton services are turning back at Piccadilly and tickets and passes will be accepted on the 263 Altrincham line, 85/86 East Didsbury line and 33/50 on the Eccles/MediaCity line.
Due to the severity of the medical emergency at Deansgate all trams are currently suspended.
