“There’s not been as many donations at this time of year compared to other years before,” said a Manchester homeless charity.
The cost of living crisis has affected the donations the Manchester Homeless Group have received this year.
The charity delivers food, clothing, sleeping bags and other goods to those who need it every Monday and Thursday.
But with the nights drawing in quicker and the temperature plummeting they say the lack of donations couldn’t have come at a worse time.
The charity also says the cost of living crisis has also affected the number of homeless people across the city with 25% more homeless on the streets this winter.
