A teenager had part of his ear bitten off during a fight in south Manchester on Saturday.
At around 2.30am on Saturday June 29, the 17-year-old victim was enjoying a night out with friends at the Ram and Shackle pub, Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield when there was a disagreement with another group.
The victim and his girlfriend left the pub for a nearby takeaway, where two of the group from the pub followed them inside and a fight took place.
This resulted in the top part of the victim’s ear being bitten off.
Detective Dave Bird, based at West Didsbury Police Station, said: “From the information we have been told, we believe these two men had spent the majority of the night on the dance floor at the pub before the original argument. “
The first man is described as being Asian, 6ft tall, bald of stocky build and in his mid-20s.
The second man is described as being Asian, 5ft 10, had dark hair and wore black glasses. It is believed he was partially sighted.

It is thought by police that the second man is believed to be’ partially sighted’ as ‘friends were guiding him around the pub’.
Detective Bird continued: “The attack at the takeaway has left the victim in terrible pain and unfortunately doctors have been unable to reattach the top part of his ear.
“I would ask anyone who may have either been at the pub or the takeaway in the early hours of that morning to contact us. “
