A body has been discovered inside a burning skip outside Manchester’s Apollo music venue earlier this morning.
Police were called to the scene around 5.30am after fire crews made the gruesome discovery after putting out the fire.
The A57 Hyde Road has been closed in both directions between the A6 Stockport Road and A665 Devonshire Street North, Brunswick Street and Higher Ardwick.
Investigations by police and fire crews are continuing.
The music venue was used last by a performance from pop group The Saturdays.
