A man has been arrested on suspicion of the rape of a woman following a city centre night out.
Information from the public flooded in after police issued a photograph of a man they wanted to speak to taken by a club photographer in Factory251 on Princess Street.
The 19-year-old victim was raped at her home in the Whitwork Park area in the early hours of Friday May 10 by a man she left the club with.
Following the information released, a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He remains in police custody for questioning while enquiries continue.
