Not got the horn this Valentine’s Day? Manchester eatery claim dose of buffalo will get you in the mood

If you’re struggling to get in the mood this Valentine’s Day, one Manchester eating spot may be able to lend you a hoof – with the meat of the buffalo.

New research has claimed buffalo meat, much like oysters, chocolates and champagne, work as a natural aphrodisiac.

Sharing a slab of meat with your partner might not sound quite as romantic of some of the more traditional options, but research claims that buffalo will get you in the mood in much the same way as classic Valentine’s Day delicacies.

‘Buffalo’ in Heaton Mersey, Greater Manchester, will be taking full advantage of reeling in a few more lovebirds this Valentine’s Day now the news is out.

Buffalo’s owner Clive Tattersall said: “We knew buffalo was a much healthier meat but we’re surprised and fascinated to learn of its aphrodisiac nature.

“We’ll have to wait for the customer feedback after Valentine’s Day!”

Buffalo unsurprisingly specialise in buffalo meat, but with plenty more choice on the menu for those who’ve already got the love buzz.

Who needs champagne and oysters when you can have buffalo burgers, wings and ribs, – provided you don’t fill yourself with too much meat.

If you do decide to end up having more than you’re fair share of meat this Valentine’s Day, don’t worry about your waistline too much, as buffalo can contain up to 90% less fat than beef.

Beware though, if you’re planning on getting steamy after your meat-feast, just know that buffalo has also been proven to help induce natural sleep, so make sure you make your move before sleepiness kicks in.

If you fancy seeing if this unusual aphrodisiac really does get you in the mood for love, head down to Buffalo this evening. For more info, click here.
