Anti-lockdown protesters marched against the Covid restrictions yesterday, viewing them as a means of controlling their rights, chanting ‘freedom’.
Hundreds took to the streets of Manchester city centre to express their frustration over the lockdown restrictions, holding placards and using megaphones.
People protested for varying reasons, with some believing the virus is a hoax or a conspiracy, and some who felt the vaccine had been rushed.
Placards could be seen that read ‘love free’ and ‘no to mandatory vaccines’.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed no arrests were made at the protest.
