The clean-cut, baby-faced foursome of Bradley, James, Connor and Tristan received the loudest screams from love-struck girls in the audience.

The Vamps are set to release new single Wild Heart in January 2014, the bands second single, and they revealed backstage how they had their eye on many of the female artists at the concert.

“Manchester is always amazing to play, we love it,” said guitarist James.

“Pixie is beautiful, we love her.

“Little Mix are also all lovely and so are Neon Jungle there are just too many girls here tonight!”

The Vamps have been confirmed as the support act for Taylor Swift’s forthcoming 2014 UK Red arena tour and with the hearty guitar-pop and youthful lyrics they are well on the way to being the next big teenage music stars.

However the band, who formed after members found one another via their respective YouTube channels, were extremely modest and were excited about seeing fellow artists Robbie Williams and Rizzlekicks.

“It’s really cool and we are so lucky to have the opportunity we have been given,” said lead singer Bradley.

“We have never done a show with Robbie, and we just met him and it was like ‘no way!’ It’s such a privilege.

“We are looking forward to seeing Rizzlekicks, we saw them the other day and they are awesome.”

The Vamps landed a record deal with EMI and are currently riding high in the Vodafone Big Top 40 after working on their debut album with producers in New York and LA.

It certainly looks like a busy year ahead judging by the ecstatic receptions they are receiving where ever they play however lead singer Bradley revealed how he still has time to fit in major New Year’s resolutions.

“I want to become a professional ice-skater maybe it could be ‘the band on ice next year,’” he said.

“Don’t worry I can work it into our busy schedule.”
