Police investigating the shooting of a man in a Salford pub last month have released CCTV of the moments leading up to the incident.
At around 11.30pm on May 36, two men dressed in hooded tops and balaclavas entered the Ashley Brook pub in Liverpool Street and shot a 49-year-old man a reported seven times.
The victim was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary but has since been discharged.
Now, officers want to trace the occupants of a light-coloured, five-door Honda Civic and a man who cycled alongside it, both of whom can be seen in the CCTV footage.
Shortly after the time shown in the video, two men entered the pub and fired a number of shots before fleeing to towards Knutsford Street down an alleyway.
Six arrests have so far been made in connection with the shooting.
Chief Superintendent Mary Doyle said: “Although arrests have been made, we believe others have been involved and are determined to find those responsible.
“We have released CCTV footage and we are now keen to trace this person and the people inside the car.”
Two 21-year-old men were arrested as well as two women aged 47 and 23.
Two teenagers – a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old girl – were also arrested.
They were all held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder but have all been bailed until August 5 pending further inquiries.
Salford City Mayor Ian Stewart has also urged people to come forward.
He said: “If members of the public have any information, no matter how small, please report it. It could be the final piece in the jigsaw and result in a conviction.”
