Ladies finally have the chance to upstage Movember and raise some eyebrows (and money) with ‘Brow Arch March’, in their Manchester Debenhams store.
Brow Arch March is the first collaboration between Debenhams and global beauty brand Benefit Cosmetics in support of the women’s cancer charity, Look Good Feel Better.
Throughout 50 Debenhams stores across the UK, Benefit Cosmetics ‘Brow Bars’ are offering a brow arch service, normally priced at £11.50, for a minimum donation of £5 during March.
The brow-mapping service determines the perfect beginning, arch and finishing points for your brows in a way that highlights the contours of your face.
Look Good Feel Better is aimed at offering free support to women who suffer from the visible side effects that cancer treatment can cause.

“Finding out you have cancer is daunting and life changing,” a spokesperson for Look Good Feel Better said.
“The added stress of the appearance related side effects of treatment can be demoralising and overwhelming.
“This can have serious consequences for confidence and self-esteem at a time when a positive attitude is vital.”
This year’s campaign is the first ever Brow Arch March, and so far £42,000 has already been raised.
The ‘Browmeter’ is updated weekly and the most recent figures can be found on the Brow Arch March website.
With the number of women being diagnosed with cancer on the rise, Brow Arch March is a significant step in allowing women raise awareness about the importance of self-esteem and confidence in fighting illness.
“Men were able to take part in Movember, and now it’s time us women did something,” said Cassi Gibson, the Account Manager at Benefit Brow Bar in Debenhams, Market Street, Manchester.
She added: “The campaign has been really popular and we’ve even had some men coming in to have their brows shaped.”
Actress Kara Tointon has also played a part in encouraging women of all ages to pluck up the courage and take on the tweezers.
“The fantastic work that Look Good Feel Better undertakes for the wellbeing and self-confidence of women struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment is truly amazing,” Kara said
“Sadly, cancer affects the lives of so many people and the charity plays such an important part in helping to regain a sense of control and normality.”
The actress joined crowds of ladies, appropriately dubbed ‘Arch Angels’, in central London on Sunday 9 March to take part in a fundraising march through the capital’s spring sunshine.

The march, which started and finished in Berkeley Square Gardens, took its walkers past some of London’s most famous arches, including Marble Arch.
Arch Angels turned up fresh-faced on the day, with the chance to stop at various Benefit Cosmetic checkpoints where they could receive beauty tips and touches along the way.
Women have until the end of the month to march to their nearest Benefit Brow Bars, and play their part in shaping the ‘Browmeter’ results for the Look Good Feel Better cause.
