Coca-Cola’s iconic Christmas truck will herald that Holidays Are Coming as it roars into Manchester’s Trafford Centre later this month.
The star of the infamous festive advert will make a pit-stop on November 26 transforming the centre into a snowy winter wonderland with a choir singing carols and Christmas elves serving chilled Coca-Cola drinks.
Those getting into the Christmas spirit will also get the chance to get up close to the truck and have a keepsake photo taken.
The drinks giant has decided to visit Manchester after research revealed it was a ‘kindness hotspot’ where people go above and beyond to make the festive season special for their loved ones.
Bríd Drohan-Stewart, Marketing Director for Coca‑Cola Great Britain, said: “Coca-Cola has become synonymous with spreading festive cheer and our Christmas campaigns, old and new, mark the unofficial countdown to Christmas.”
Later in the month, Coca‑Cola will also introduce a new advert called Shooting Star, which focuses on a central theme of delivering good deeds during the Christmas season.
It will premiere on November 23 and shows people carrying out simple acts of kindness for the ones they love, to share what they have, when they can.
Bríd Drohan-Stewart added: “Shooting Star’s central creative remains true to the brand’s core values of spreading happiness around the world.”
