Business leaders and the services they provide are due to be recognised in Altrincham and Sale’s Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards.
The organisation, which has been representing ‘the interests of businesses’ in South Trafford for more than 100 years, will be honouring them at The Cresta Court Hotel.
Describing itself as ‘an independent, non-political business organisation’ the Chamber Annual Business Awards recognises businesses in the community and the achievements of the people within them.
President of the Chamber Sue Aldridge said: “I am delighted to announce Virign Atlantic as sponsor of our awards which are now in their third-year and going from strength-to-strength.”
A number of awards will be up for grabs on the night, ranging from Business of the Year to Retailer of the Year and Employee of the Year to Young Apprentice of the Year.
This last award in particular is important as it recognises young apprentices, an initiative set up and encouraged by the government to give young people opportunities in the workplace.
It helps them learn the necessary skills needed to succeed and the Chamber has been active in rewarding the young people involved.
The event promises to be fun and a great opportunity for the business community of South Trafford to be proud of their success for the people they employ and the customers and clients they serve.
The evening will start with a champagne reception followed by a three-course meal and some lucky attendees will also have a chance of winning flights donated by Virgin Atlantic.
The event is taking place on Thursday October 16 and tickets can be purchased for £45 here.
