A teenager is fighting for his life after falling 12ft inside the Ritz in Manchester on Saturday night.
The 18-year-old fell from the balcony onto a concrete floor at the Whitworth Street West venue in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A GMP spokesman confirmed police were called at 2.40am on Sunday December 7 to reports that an 18-year-old male had fallen from a balcony.
An ambulance took the injured man, believed to be from Salford, to Salford Royal Hospital for emergency surgery for a fractured skull.

The incident happened during the Ritz’s weekly Lightboxx house, bass and hiphop night.
The man remained in critical condition yesterday. An update on his condition is expected today.
MM have contacted the Ritz and are awaiting a responsse.
