The RMT announced this week that there will be strikes between Christmas Eve and 27 December.
These are in addition four days of strike action next week.
“I have had to take four days of holiday leave to see my family,” said one person in response to the news.
This will add to the pressure on people travelling on trains as these new strikes have added to the ones already planned on 13-14 December, on 16-17 December and at the beginning of the New Year.
